Perfect for couples traveling together, the home features 2 bedrooms each with a king size bed and bath. The newly renovated kitchen features cherry cabinets, granite counters and ss appliances. A side deck off the living room is perfect for dining out or soaking up some sun. Across the street is the driveway to the Somesville Landing on Somes Harbor where there is a boat launch area. It is also a great starting point for a day on the water in your kayak. Take a stroll down to the village library or to the Acadia Repertory Theater for one of their many entertaining live performances. Echo Lake and Long Pond are just minutes away as are the carriage road and trails in Acadia National Park. Also available at the street, is the free Island Explorer shuttle bus which runs every 1/2 hour during the day and every hour in the evening. It connects with all the island towns and allows you the opportunity to leave the car at the house. Truly the perfect place for your Maine vacation.
